Design work, in the end, is a reflection of the person who commissions it.
Their intelligence, character, joys, and fears are reflected in it so clearly that, even without realizing it, they interfere with the design. Many of the emotions they reveal also enter the work, and in that way, they take responsibility for the result as well.
The process moves forward, tied to one another by invisible bonds, inevitably carrying our own nature with it. And then, one day, we look and see that it has bloomed overnight.
If the person we are holding a mirror up to does their work with passion, if the promise of their brand reaches back to their childhood dreams, if they make this necessary for themselves, then they know very well how to plant those seeds correctly and grow them with patience.

In companies, schools, neighborhoods, and within the circulation of people coming together across generations, what was passed down to new generations was not so much how something should be done, but how something could not be done.
A huge game of telephone was played.
Everyone passed on the fear, the rule, the hesitation, and the trauma they had inherited to the next person.

Couldn’t there have been a story like this?
A woman who grew up in a poor neighborhood one day marries a rich man.
Over time, she begins to believe that if she does not wear silk pajamas at night, her husband will not find her desirable.
She turns this small belief into a habit she mistakes for elegance.
She raises her daughter with the same point of view.
Years later, that daughter becomes a mother too.
And one night, she turns to her own daughter and says:
“We women have worn silk pajamas for generations.”
How ladylike, how elegant, how chic it sounds when she says it.
But no one remembers this:
The seed of that culture was planted long ago by a grandmother’s feeling of inadequacy.
The world around you is full of examples you would not actually want to become.

You know how they say:
“Those who fought, fought and died; we are the children of those who ran from war.”
In the capitalist order, we are in the opposite situation.
We live only inside the ecosystem of those who have won.
But we should remember that the people we see as winners do not even make up one percent when you look at the whole.
When people push back against my desire to make what does not yet exist, and explain that resistance by saying they are thinking about “capital,” I try to preserve my own resistance and strengthen it even more.
Each one of us already exists.
Each one of us is unlike any other.
By imitating, you repeat what already exists and camouflage yourself.
You have to be the content, man.

Aren’t some therapies basically about this?
Why didn’t I become a superstar?
Why won’t I become one?
Could I maybe become one?
Make me believe that I can.

When they no longer matter to anyone, not even to you, all your dreams will come true.

We taught the machine that we are limited to words and colors.
We taught it that on a screen full of static, if we light the right pixels in the right colors, we can see anything we can think of with the words we have, limited by what we know and what we have seen.
Apparently, we had already taught the machine 1 and 0 too.
That everything is duality.
If we had taught the machine how to judge, it would definitely judge the people who perform the script written by artificial intelligence without changing a thing.
